Better than my Jetta

I love VW I had Jetta few years back and when I needed new car I just wanted to go back to VW. Its very safe car and it just drives better.

The driver safety systems are really easy to use and the climate control works very well. The front heated seats are standard on this model. The induction charger and CarPlay for my iPhone are a big plus. Plenty of power, very smooth and quiet ride. The interior is understated but modern with LED screens.
Dislikes
The lack of memory controls for the mirror and seat settings. Because of the third row seating , the cargo area is pretty small. That's really about it

Comfortable, precious design and good material quality. Not the most refined equipment available in my country (mexico), but still feels like a premium car.
Dislikes
I would have preferred a more premium version, but like I said, it is still good.

Great car with a clunky transmission

I've been driving the Tiguan for a couple of weeks now. I chose this car because I live in the mountains and although snow is cleared quite rapidly, I wanted a vehicle that was solid, safe and could deal with sometimes difficult driving conditions, – snow, rock fall, landslide, cyclists! The car is fun to drive, holds the road well and so far, despite the ever rising fuel costs, I've found it quite economical compared to other cars of similar engine size and weight. The controls are all pretty self explanatory, everything is within easy reach of the driver and the break hold for hill starts is a great help. The interior of the car feels much larger that the exterior suggests making it a comfortable vehicle for driver and passengers. 12 volt points are very useful in both the boot and the rear of the car and the boot is a very generous size.
Dislikes
Having moved from a semi automatic car to the manual Tiguan, the gear change from 1st to 2nd is quite clunky. I thought it was my lack of gear management over the past years but I'm comfortable and confident with the car now and the first change is still clunky. Although I was impressed with the warning that my tyre pressure was compromised, it would be more help to know which tyre is causing the discrepancy.

Spacious but could have been taller

The Tiguan is spacious and has a smooth ride. The entertainment screen is a perfect size. The interior looks quite pricy as opposed to the actual cost. Very nice.

The take-off lags. I feel the height could’ve been added
